KRT6A ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein keratin 6A, which is encoded by the KRT6A gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in cell differentiation and the regulation of cell proliferation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 564 residues, a mass of 60 kDa, and is a member of the Intermediate filament protein family. It is reported to be expressed in the corneal epithelium. The KRT6A gene has been associated with the disease, Pachyonychia congenita. Other alias names for this target include CK-6E, CK6A, CK6C, CK6D, K6A, K6C, K6D, and CK-6C.
Some KRT6A ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 15.6 pg/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
