ATP6AP1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ATPase H+ transporting accessory protein 1, which is encoded by the ATP6AP1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be an accessory subunit the proton-transporting vacuolar (V)-ATPase protein pump, which is required for luminal acidification of secretory vesicles. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 470 residues, a mass of 52 kDa, and is a member of the Vacuolar ATPase subunit S1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles and ER and is found to be widely expressed, with highest levels in the brain and lowest in liver and duodenum. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally N-glycosylated. The ATP6AP1 gene has been associated with the disease, Immunodeficiency. Other alias names for this target include ATP6IP1, ATP6S1, Ac45, CF2, VATPS1, XAP-3, XAP3, and 16A.
Some ATP6AP1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
