SOX6 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein SRY-box transcription factor 6, which is encoded by the SOX6 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a transcription factor that plays a key role in several developmental processes, including neurogenesis, chondrocytes differentiation and cartilage formation (Probable). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 828 residues and a mass of 91.9 kDa. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in a wide variety of tissues, most abundantly in skeletal musclen. As many as 4 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally sumoylated. The SOX6 gene has been associated with the disease, Tolchin-Le Caignec syndrome. Other alias names for this target include SRY (sex determining region Y)-box 6, SRY-box 6, SRY-box containing gene 6, and transcription factor SOX-6.
Some SOX6 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 20 ng/L and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
