These Ngep ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of Ngep in biological samples. Ngep is an alias of the human ANO7 gene, which encodes the protein, anoctamin 7. The protein is known to have calcium-dependent phospholipid scramblase activity; scrambles phosphatidylserine, phosphatidylcholine and galactosylceramide (By similarity). The ANO7 protein is 933 amino acid residues in length and 105.5 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 3 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the ER and cell membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is notably expressed in epithelial cells of the prostate. This protein is known to be glycosylated. Other names for this target antigen include D-TMPP, DTMPP, and IPCA-5. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
