These TAUT ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of TAUT in biological samples. TAUT is an alias of the human SLC6A6 gene, which encodes the protein, solute carrier family 6 member 6. Notably, TAUT is known to play a role in the regulation of cell differentiation, among other functions. The SLC6A6 protein is 620 amino acid residues in length and 69.8 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is noted to be expressed abundantly in placenta and skeletal muscle, at intermediate levels in heart, brain, lung, kidney and pancreas and at low levels in liver. This protein is known to be phosphorylated and glycosylated. Other names for this target antigen include HTRDC.
There are TAUT ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.15 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
