LRP2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein LDL receptor related protein 2, which is encoded by the LRP2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in cell proliferation and endocytosis. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 4655 residues, a mass of 522 kDa, and is a member of the LDLR protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is reported to be expressed in first and third trimester cytotrophoblasts in the placenta. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally N-glycosylated and cleaved. The LRP2 gene has been associated with the disease, Donnai-Barrow syndrome. Other alias names for this target include GP330, low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 2, Heymann nephritis antigen homolog, calcium sensor protein, glycoprotein 330, and DBS.
There are LRP2 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 15.6 pg/mL and as high as 100 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
