SHISA7 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein shisa family member 7, which is encoded by the SHISA7 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a transmembrane protein that regulates gamma-aminobutyric acid type A receptor (GABA(A)R) trafficking, channel deactivation kinetics and pharmacology, necessary for fast inhibitory transmission in the brain. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 538 residues, a mass of 56.2 kDa, and is a member of the Shisa protein family. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include GABA(A) receptor auxiliary subunit Shisa7, UPF0626 protein A, cystine-knot AMPAR modulating protein of 59 kDa, shisa homolog 7, and protein shisa-7.
The detection range for different Shisa7 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
