These WAVE ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of WAVE in biological samples. WAVE is an alias of the human WASF1 gene, which encodes the protein, WASP family member 1. Notably, WAVE is known to play a role in cytoskeleton organization and the assembly of protein complexes, among other functions. The WASF1 protein is described to be 559 amino acid residues in length and 61.7 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be highly expressed in the brain. This protein is known to be phosphorylated. Other names for this target antigen include NEDALVS and SCAR1.
