CHP1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein calcineurin like EF-hand protein 1, which is encoded by the CHP1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be a calcium-binding protein involved in different processes such as regulation of vesicular trafficking, plasma membrane Na(+)/H(+) exchanger and gene transcription. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 195 residues, a mass of 22.5 kDa, and is a member of the Calcineurin regulatory subunit protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane, nucleus, ER, and cytoplasm and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally myristoylated and phosphorylated. The CHP1 gene has been associated with the disease, Spastic ataxia. Other alias names for this target include SLC9A1BP, SPAX9, Sid470p, p22, p24, and CHP.
Some CHP1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
