GLI3 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein GLI family zinc finger 3, which is encoded by the GLI3 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to have a dual function as a transcriptional activator and a repressor of the sonic hedgehog (Shh) pathway, and plays a role in limb development. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1580 residues, a mass of 169.9 kDa, and is a member of the GLI C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally ubiquitinated, cleaved and phosphorylated. The GLI3 gene has been associated with the disease, Greig cephalo-poly-syndactyly syndrome. Other alias names for this target include GCPS, GLI3-190, GLI3FL, PAP-A, PAPA, PAPA1, PAPB, and ACLS.
The detection range for different GLI3 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 40 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
