RPL18 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ribosomal protein L18, which is encoded by the RPL18 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the large ribosomal subunit. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 188 residues, a mass of 21.6 kDa, and is a member of the Eukaryotic ribosomal protein eL18 protein family. It is known to be localized in the ER and cytoplasm. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The RPL18 gene has been associated with the disease, Diamond-Blackfan anemia. Other alias names for this target include L18, eL18, 60S ribosomal protein L18, large ribosomal subunit protein eL18, and DBA18.
Some RPL18 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
