SP140 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein SP140 nuclear body protein, which is encoded by the SP140 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the nuclear body, also known as nuclear domain 10, PML oncogenic domain, and KR body. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 867 residues and a mass of 98.2 kDa. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is notably expressed in spleen and peripheral blood leukocytes, much lower levels in tonsils, thymus, prostate, ovary, small intestine, and colon. As many as 6 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated. The SP140 gene has been associated with the disease, . Other alias names for this target include LYSP100-A, LYSP100-B, nuclear body protein SP140, lymphoid-restricted homolog of Sp100, lymphoid-specific SP100 homolog, and LYSP100.
There are SP140 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.15 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
