KAZN ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein kazrin, periplakin interacting protein, which is encoded by the KAZN gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the cornified envelope of keratinocytes. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 775 residues, a mass of 86.4 kDa, and is a member of the Kazrin protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm. As many as 5 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include KAZ, kazrin, and C1orf196.
Some KAZN ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
