ORC5 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein origin recognition complex subunit 5, which is encoded by the ORC5 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the origin recognition complex (ORC) that binds origins of replication. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 435 residues, a mass of 50.3 kDa, and is a member of the ORC5 protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and chromosomes and is notably expressed in spleen, ovary, prostate, testis, and colon mucosa. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally ubiquitinated. Other alias names for this target include ORC5P, ORC5T, PPP1R117, protein phosphatase 1, regulatory subunit 117, and ORC5L.
There are ORC5 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
