GLI2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein GLI family zinc finger 2, which is encoded by the GLI2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to function as transcription regulator in the hedgehog (Hh) pathway. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1586 residues, a mass of 167.8 kDa, and is a member of the GLI C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in breast cancers. As many as 5 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally acetylated and phosphorylated. The GLI2 gene has been associated with the disease, Holoprosencephaly. Other alias names for this target include HPE9, PHS2, THP1, THP2, zinc finger protein GLI2, and CJS.
Some GLI2 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 78 pg/mL and as high as 40 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
