WAPL ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein WAPL cohesin release factor, which is encoded by the WAPL gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported regulator of sister chromatid cohesion in mitosis which negatively regulates cohesin association with chromatin. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1190 residues, a mass of 132.9 kDa, and is a member of the WAPL protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include KIAA0261, WAPAL, wings apart-like protein homolog, friend of EBNA2 (Epstein-Barr virus nuclear protein 2), friend of EBNA2 protein, and FOE.
Some WAPL ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
