REG4 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein regenerating family member 4, which is encoded by the REG4 gene in humans. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 158 residues and a mass of 18.2 kDa. It is known to be secreted and is reported to be highly expressed in the gastrointestinal tract including the duodenum, jejunum, ileum, ileocecum, appendix, descending colon, pancreas and small intestine. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include REG-like protein, gastrointestinal secretory protein, reg IV, regenerating gene type IV, regenerating islet-derived family, member 4, and regenerating islet-derived protein 4.
The detection range for different REG4 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 3.125 pg/mL and as high as 100 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
