SOX7 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein SRY-box transcription factor 7, which is encoded by the SOX7 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to bind to and activates the CDH5 promoter, hence plays a role in the transcriptional regulation of genes expressed in the hemogenic endothelium and blocks further differentiation into blood precursors (By similarity). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 388 residues and a mass of 42.2 kDa. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is found to be widely expressed in adult and fetal tissues. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include SRY (sex determining region Y)-box 7, SRY-box 7, and transcription factor SOX-7.
The detection range for different SOX7 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
