These Hamartin ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of Hamartin in biological samples. Hamartin is an alias of the human TSC1 gene, which encodes the protein, TSC complex subunit 1. Notably, Hamartin is known to play a role in GTPase activation and adaptive immune responses, among other functions. The TSC1 protein is 1164 amino acid residues in length and 129.8 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the membrane and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be highly expressed in skeletal muscle, followed by heart, brain, placenta, pancreas, lung, liver and kidney. This protein is known to be phosphorylated. Other names for this target antigen include LAM and TSC.
There are Hamartin ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 78 pg/mL and as high as 5000 pg/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
