RPIA ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ribose 5-phosphate isomerase A, which is encoded by the RPIA gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to catalyze the reversible conversion of ribose-5-phosphate to ribulose 5-phosphate and participates in the first step of the non-oxidative branch of the pentose phosphate pathway. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 311 residues, a mass of 33.3 kDa, and is a member of the Ribose 5-phosphate isomerase protein family. The RPIA gene has been associated with the disease, Ribose 5-phosphate isomerase deficiency. Other alias names for this target include RPIAD, ribose-5-phosphate isomerase, phosphoriboisomerase, ribose 5-phosphate epimerase, and RPI.
Some RPIA ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 1.56 ng/mL and as high as 100 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
