These T-cadherin ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of T-cadherin in biological samples. T-cadherin is an alias of the human CDH13 gene, which encodes the protein, cadherin 13. Notably, T-cadherin is known to play a role in cell adhesion, among other functions. The CDH13 protein is 713 amino acid residues in length and 78.3 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 5 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be highly expressed in heart. This protein is known to be glycosylated. Other names for this target antigen include CDHH, P105, and H-cadherin (heart).
The detection range for different T-cadherin ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.02 ng/mL and as high as 3 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
