GLG1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein golgi glycoprotein 1, which is encoded by the GLG1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to bind fibroblast growth factor and E-selectin (cell-adhesion lectin on endothelial cells mediating the binding of neutrophils). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 1179 residues and a mass of 134.6 kDa. It is known to be localized in the golgi and cytoplasm and is widely expressed across many tissue types. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally N-glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include ESL-1, MG-160, MG160, Golgi apparatus protein 1, E-selectin ligand 1, and CFR-1.
Some GLG1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 20 ng/L and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
