RTP4 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein receptor transporter protein 4, which is encoded by the RTP4 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a suspected chaperone protein which facilitates trafficking and functional cell surface expression of some G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 246 residues, a mass of 27.9 kDa, and is a member of the TMEM7 protein family. It is known to be localized in the membrane and is reported to be expressed in circumvallate papillae and testis. Other alias names for this target include 28 kDa interferon-responsive protein, 28kD interferon responsive protein, 3CxxC-type zinc finger protein 4, receptor (chemosensory) transporter protein 4, and receptor-transporting protein 4.
The detection range for different Rtp4 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
