COQ7 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein coenzyme Q7, hydroxylase, which is encoded by the COQ7 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to catalyze the hydroxylation of 2-polyprenyl-3-methyl-6-methoxy-1,4-benzoquinol (DMQH2) during ubiquinone biosynthesis (By similarity). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 217 residues, a mass of 24.3 kDa, and is a member of the COQ7 protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and mitochondria and is noted to be expressed dominantly in heart and skeletal muscle. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The COQ7 gene has been associated with the disease, Coenzyme Q10 deficiency. Other alias names for this target include CLK-1, CLK1, COQ10D8, 5-demethoxyubiquinone hydroxylase, mitochondrial, COQ7 coenzyme Q, 7 homolog ubiquinone, and CAT5.
Some COQ7 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 15.3 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
