CLEC18A ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein C-type lectin domain family 18 member A, which is encoded by the CLEC18A gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to bind polysaccharides in a Ca(2+)-independent manner with a preferentially binding to fucoidan, beta-glucans and galactans. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 446 residues and a mass of 49.6 kDa. It is known to be localized in the ER, golgi, and is secreted. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally N-glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include mannose receptor-like protein 2, mannose receptor-like protein 3, and mannose receptor-like 1.
The detection range for different CLEC18A ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.1 ng/mL and as high as 40 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
