These Alpha-Actinin-3 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of Alpha-Actinin-3 in biological samples. Alpha-Actinin-3 is an alias of the human ACTN3 gene, which encodes the protein, actinin alpha 3. Notably, Alpha-Actinin-3 is known to play a role in cytoskeleton organization and carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis, among other functions. The ACTN3 protein is described to be 901 amino acid residues in length and 103.2 kilodaltons in mass. In terms of tissue specificity, it is found to be preferentially expressed in a subset of type 2 skeletal muscle fibers. Other names for this target antigen include ACTN3D and alpha-actinin-3.
There are Alpha-Actinin-3 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 7.8 pg/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
