SPON2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein spondin 2, which is encoded by the SPON2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in cell adhesion and the cellular response to lipopolysaccharides. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 331 residues and a mass of 35.8 kDa. It is known to be localized in the extracellular matrix and is secreted and is reported to be expressed in normal lung tissue but not in lung carcinoma cell lines. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include DIL1, M-SPONDIN, MINDIN, differentially expressed in cancerous and non-cancerous lung cells 1, spondin 2, extracellular matrix protein, and DIL-1.
The detection range for different SPON2 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 15.6 pg/mL and as high as 200 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
