NFKBIZ ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein NFKB inhibitor zeta, which is encoded by the NFKBIZ gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in regulation of NF-kappa-B transcription factor complexes. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 718 residues and a mass of 78.1 kDa. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is notably expressed at high levels in peripheral blood leukocytes and lung, at moderate levels in liver, placenta, and at low levels in spleen, kidney, skeletal muscle and heart. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include IL-1 inducible nuclear ankyrin-repeat protein, molecule possessing ankyrin repeats induced by lipopolysaccharide, nuclear factor of kappa light polypeptide gene enhancer in B-cells inhibitor, zeta, and NF-kappa-B inhibitor zeta.
The detection range for different NFKBIZ ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 78 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
