Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in the regulation of transcription. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 262 residues, a mass of 28.8 kDa, and is a member of the ETS protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs) and B-cells, not expressed in T-cells or granulocytes. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include transcription factor Spi-B and Spi-B transcription factor (Spi-1/PU.1 related).
