SPIN1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein spindlin 1, which is encoded by the SPIN1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a chromatin reader that specifically recognizes and binds histone H3 both trimethylated at 'Lys-4' and asymmetrically dimethylated at 'Arg-8' (H3K4me3 and H3R8me2a) and acts as an activator of Wnt signaling pathway downstream of PRMT2. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 262 residues, a mass of 29.6 kDa, and is a member of the SPIN/STSY protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is reported to be highly expressed in ovarian cancer tissues. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include TDRD24, ovarian cancer-related protein, and SPIN.
Some SPIN1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 15 ng/L and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
