PIAS1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein protein inhibitor of activated STAT 1, which is encoded by the PIAS1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to function as a E3-type small ubiquitin-like modifier (SUMO) ligase, stabilizing the interaction between UBE2I and the substrate, and as a SUMO-tethering factor. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 651 residues, a mass of 71.8 kDa, and is a member of the PIAS protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is reported to be expressed in numerous tissues with highest level in testis. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally sumoylated. Other alias names for this target include GBP, ZMIZ3, E3 SUMO-protein ligase PIAS1, AR interacting protein, and DDXBP1.
Some PIAS1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 31.25 pg/mL and as high as 200 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
