SOD3 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein superoxide dismutase 3, which is encoded by the SOD3 gene in humans. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 240 residues, a mass of 25.9 kDa, and is a member of the Cu-Zn superoxide dismutase protein family. It is known to be localized in the golgi and is secreted and is reported to be expressed in blood vessels, heart, lung, kidney and placenta. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include extracellular superoxide dismutase [Cu-Zn], superoxide dismutase 3, extracellular, testicular tissue protein Li 175, and EC-SOD.
Some SOD3 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 3 ng/L and as high as 400 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
