MMP14 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein matrix metallopeptidase 14, which is encoded by the MMP14 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported endopeptidase that degrades various components of the extracellular matrix such as collagen. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 582 residues, a mass of 65.9 kDa, and is a member of the Peptidase M10A protein family. It is known to be localized in the membrane and cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in stromal cells of colon, breast, and head and neck. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally cleaved and phosphorylated. The MMP14 gene has been associated with the disease, Winchester syndrome. Other alias names for this target include MT-MMP, MT-MMP 1, MT1-MMP, MT1MMP, MTMMP1, WNCHRS, matrix metalloproteinase-14, and MMP-X1.
Some MMP14 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 15.6 pg/mL and as high as 400 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
