CABYR ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein calcium binding tyrosine phosphorylation regulated, which is encoded by the CABYR gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is believed to function as a a regulator of both motility- and head-associated functions such as capacitation and the acrosome reaction. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 493 residues and a mass of 52.8 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in elongating spermatids and spermatozoa. As many as 6 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include CABYRc, CABYRc/d, CABYRe, CBP86, CT88, FSP-2, FSP2, and CABYRa.
The detection range for different CABYR ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
