MYCN ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein MYCN proto-oncogene, bHLH transcription factor, which is encoded by the MYCN gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in astrocyte differentiation and lung development. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 464 residues and a mass of 49.6 kDa. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is reported to be expressed in the neuronal cells of the cerebrum, neuroblastomas and thyroid tumors. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated. The MYCN gene has been associated with the disease, Feingold syndrome. Other alias names for this target include MYCNsORF, MYCNsPEP, N-myc, NMYC, ODED, bHLHe37, N-myc proto-oncogene protein, and MODED.
There are MYCN ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 15.6 pg/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
