CLEC17A ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein C-type lectin domain containing 17A, which is encoded by the CLEC17A gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported cell surface receptor which may be involved in carbohydrate-mediated communication between cells in the germinal center. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 378 residues and a mass of 42.9 kDa. It is known to be localized in the membrane and is noted to be expressed on dividing B-cells of germinal centers in various tissues, including lymph nodes, tonsils, stomach, intestine, appendix and spleen. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated and glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include C-type lectin domain family 17 member A, prolectin, and C-type lectin domain family 17, member A.
Some CLEC17A ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
