The ELISA kits listed below target GBA, the symbol for the human gene, glucosylceramidase beta, and a member of the Glycosyl hydrolase 30 family. The protein has an enzyme classification of glucosylceramidase. The protein encoded by GBA has a predicted amino acid length of 536 and a mass of 59.7 kDa. There are currently 5 reported isoforms, as well as sites of glycosylation. Pathologic involvement is reported in Gaucher disease. GBA may also be known by the following names: beta-glucocerebrosidase, beta-GC, acid beta-glucosidase, SGTase, D-glucosyl-N-acylsphingosine glucohydrolase, and lysosomal acid glucosylceramidase, and cholesteryl-beta-glucosidase. Orthologs of the gene, including human, mouse, rat, bovine, chicken, primate, guinea pig, and other mammalian are available targets of several ELISA kits.
