AHI1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein Abelson helper integration site 1, which is encoded by the AHI1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in vesicle trafficking and required for ciliogenesis, formation of primary non-motile cilium, and recruitment of RAB8A to the basal body of primary cilium. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 1196 residues and a mass of 137.1 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm and is reported to be highly expressed in the most primitive normal hematopoietic cells. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The AHI1 gene has been associated with the disease, Joubert syndrome. Other alias names for this target include ORF1, dJ71N10.1, jouberin, abelson helper integration site 1 protein homolog, contatins SH3 and WD40 domains, and JBTS3.
The detection range for different AHI1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 78 pg/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
