The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 148 residues, a mass of 15.9 kDa, and is a member of the Adrenomedullin protein family. It is known to be secreted and is reported to be expressed in the esophagus, stomach, jejunum, ileum, ileocecum, ascending colon, transverse colon, descending colon and rectum. Other alias names for this target include protein ADM2 and intermedin.
