THEMIS ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein thymocyte selection associated, which is encoded by the THEMIS gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to play an important role in late thymocyte development by controlling both positive and negative T-cell selection. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 641 residues, a mass of 73.5 kDa, and is a member of the Themis protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm. As many as 4 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated.
