PNMT ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein phenylethanolamine N-methyltransferase, which is encoded by the PNMT gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to catalyze the transmethylation of nonepinephrine (noradrenaline) to form epinephrine (adrenaline), using S-adenosyl-L-methionine as the methyl donor. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 282 residues, a mass of 30.9 kDa, and is a member of the NNMT/PNMT/TEMT protein family. Other alias names for this target include PNMTase, noradrenaline N-methyltransferase, phenylethanolamine N-methylase, and PENT.
There are PNMT ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 20 ng/L and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
