CHST1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein carbohydrate sulfotransferase 1, which is encoded by the CHST1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported sulfotransferase that utilizes 3'-phospho-5'-adenylyl sulfate (PAPS) as sulfonate donor to catalyze the transfer of sulfate to position 6 of internal galactose (Gal) residues of keratan. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 411 residues, a mass of 46.7 kDa, and is a member of the Sulfotransferase 1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the golgi and is found to be widely expressed at low level. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include GST-1, KS6ST, KSGal6ST, KSST, Keratan sulfotransferase, and C6ST.
The detection range for different CHST1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 31.25 pg/mL and as high as 30 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
