ABCA13 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ATP binding cassette subfamily A member 13, which is encoded by the ABCA13 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is believed to mediate the cholesterol and gangliosides transport from the plasma membrane to intracellular vesicles in an ATP hydrolysis dependent manner, thus playing a role in their internalization by endocytic retrograde transport and may also participate in the endocytosis of synaptic vesicle in cortical neurons. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 5058 residues, a mass of 576.2 kDa, and is a member of the ABC transporter protein superfamily. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles. As many as 7 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include ATP binding cassette transporter A13 and ATP-binding cassette, sub-family A (ABC1), member 13.
The detection range for different ABCA13 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 46.875 pg/mL and as high as 5000 pg/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
