CNOT1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein CCR4-NOT transcription complex subunit 1, which is encoded by the CNOT1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a scaffolding component of the CCR4-NOT complex which is one of the major cellular mRNA deadenylases and is linked to various cellular processes including bulk mRNA degradation, miRNA-mediated repression, translational repression during translational initiation and general transcription regulation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 2376 residues, a mass of 266.9 kDa, and is a member of the CNOT1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is reported to be highly expressed in the brain, heart, thymus, spleen, kidney, liver, placenta and lung. As many as 4 protein isoforms have been reported. The CNOT1 gene has been associated with the disease, Holoprosencephaly 12 with or without pancreatic agenesis. Other alias names for this target include CDC39, HPE12, NOT1, NOT1H, VIBOS, and AD-005.
The detection range for different CNOT1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
