CAPNS1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein calpain small subunit 1, which is encoded by the CAPNS1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a regulatory subunit of the calcium-regulated non-lysosomal thiol-protease which catalyzes limited proteolysis of substrates involved in cytoskeletal remodeling and signal transduction. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 268 residues and a mass of 28.3 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and cytoplasm. Other alias names for this target include CALPAIN4 and CANP.
Some CAPNS1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.05 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
