NFYA ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein nuclear transcription factor Y subunit alpha, which is encoded by the NFYA gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the sequence-specific heterotrimeric transcription factor (NF-Y) which specifically recognizes a 5'-CCAAT-3' box motif found in the promoters of its target genes. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 347 residues, a mass of 36.9 kDa, and is a member of the NFYA/HAP2 subunit protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include CBF-B, HAP2, CAAT-box DNA binding protein subunit A, CCAAT-binding transcription factor subunit B, HAP2 CCAAT-binding protein, and CBF-A.
The detection range for different NFYA ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
