RXFP2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein relaxin family peptide receptor 2, which is encoded by the RXFP2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known receptor for relaxin. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 754 residues, a mass of 86.5 kDa, and is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is notably expressed in the brain, kidney, muscle, testis, thyroid, uterus, peripheral blood cells and bone marrow. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. The RXFP2 gene has been associated with the disease, Cryptorchidism. Other alias names for this target include G protein coupled receptor affecting testicular descent, G-protein coupled receptor 106, leucine-rich repeat-containing G-protein coupled receptor 8, and relaxin receptor 2.
Some RXFP2 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
