PIK3R2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein phosphoinositide-3-kinase regulatory subunit 2, which is encoded by the PIK3R2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a regulatory subunit of phosphoinositide-3-kinase (PI3K), a kinase that phosphorylates PtdIns(4,5)P2 (Phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate) to generate phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate (PIP3). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 728 residues, a mass of 81.5 kDa, and is a member of the PI3K p85 subunit protein family. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally ubiquitinated and phosphorylated. The PIK3R2 gene has been associated with the disease, Megalencephaly-polymicrogyria-polydactyly-hydrocephalus syndrome. Other alias names for this target include MPPH1, P85B, p85, p85-BETA, p85beta, and MPPH.
Some PIK3R2 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 15 ng/L and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
