OPRM1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein opioid receptor mu 1, which is encoded by the OPRM1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known receptor for endogenous opioids such as beta-endorphin and endomorphin. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 400 residues, a mass of 44.8 kDa, and is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is reported to be expressed in the brain. As many as 18 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated, ubiquitinated and phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include M-OR-1, MOP, MOR, MOR1, OPRM, mu-type opioid receptor, mu opiate receptor, and LMOR.
Some OPRM1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 31.2 pg/mL and as high as 30 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
