These GARS ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of GARS in biological samples. GARS is an alias of the human GART gene, which encodes the protein, phosphoribosylglycinamide formyltransferase, phosphoribosylglycinamide synthetase, phosphoribosylaminoimidazole synthetase. Notably, GARS is known to play a role in brain development, among other functions. The GART protein is 1010 amino acid residues in length and 107.8 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. Other names for this target antigen include AIRS and GARTF.
Some GARS ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 15.6 pg/mL and as high as 100 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
